Notes about using Full Text Search
When searching for items, note that the following limitations apply:
- Wildcards. Wildcard searches are not currently supported in this release. This functionality will be available after October, 2010.
- Word fragments. It is recommended that you type in an entire word, as opposed to just a fragment, in order to ensure satisfactory search results. For example, "behavior" will find behavior only, not behavioral, behaviorally, etc. Conventional stemming will be supported after October 1, 2010.
- Document Types. You can specify which types of items to search for using the Document Type refinement.
- Sort. You can only sort by Relevance or Date Modified. Additional sort options will be added after October 1, 2010.
